Temple - Free verse poem
Temple, a place where people worship not only the statues but the power they believe in,
A place where people visit with hope in their eyes.
Thinking that their prayers will be heard and problems will be solved,
Faith and belief brings them here.
The atmosphere freshen their mind,
The aura makes them feel lively again.
The ringing bells, incense sticks and candles fills their heart,
The flashing diyas fill their lives with light.
The peace of mind they can’t get anywhere today,
They find themselves here.
To remind me, you and us,
The power exists
